Review

Until July has been sitting on my kindle for a long time now, so I decided to finally give it a shot – and I’m so glad I did.

Until July is a spin-off of the Until series – July is the daughter of Asher and November of Until November.  She’s the oldest of five daughters (all named after months) and a veterinarian.  She’s out on a motorcycle ride (she rides a bike, cool) and she swerves to avoid a bird with a broken wing, and pretty much runs a group of bikers off the road.

The bikers follow her and confront her, and she comes face-to-face to Wes Silver.  Wes yells at her and she tells him that she’s a vet and wanted to save the bird, and Wes comes close to her, she tazes him.  July ends up taking the bird home – and naming it Taser.

A few weeks later, Wes shows up at her vet clinic and that’s pretty much it.  He is her man from that second on.

Wes is the ultimate alpha male.  July had a little bit of a hard time with it in the beginning, which I found funny (her dad, Asher, is a total alpha male).  Her sisters and cousins are sweet (the next book is about her sister June) and I loved her parents.  The description makes it sound like Asher was going to be an asshole and he totally wasn’t.

This was a fast read, and has another spinoff series starring cousin Jax (Cash and Lilly’s son), which I’m already reading.  I would recommend.

Happy reading and have a good weekend!
