Always on My Mind by Bella Andre (Sullivans #8)

Genre: Romance
Goodreads Shelves: Hot Alpha Male, Romance
My rating: 3 out of 5 stars
My recommendation: Read it, only because it’s the final book in the series

Summary from goodreads.comLori “Naughty” Sullivan finally falls in love in ALWAYS ON MY MIND, the new book in Bella Andre’s New York Times and USA Today bestselling series about the Sullivan family.

After a tragic loss three years ago, Grayson Tyler left his life in New York City behind and started over in the rolling hills of the California coast. He’s convinced himself that all he’ll ever need again is the blue sky, a thousand acres of pasture, and the crashing waves of the ocean. Until one day, Lori Sullivan barges into his life and promptly blows his emotionless and solitary world to shreds, driving him crazy as only a woman nicknamed “Naughty” can. But will Lori be able to convince him that it’s safe to love her…and that forever isn’t actually out of reach?

My review:

The 8th and final book in the San Francisco Sullivan series was rather disappointing.

Lori, aka Naughty, discovers her boyfriend is cheating on her, and leaves her shows and goes back to California.  She can’t go home and face her family, so she decides to go to Pescadero on the advice of the rental car agent.  Once there, she sees an ad for a farmhand, and goes to apply for the job.  That, in itself, was quite stupid.  Lori is a professional dancer.  Why would she do this?  It made no sense.

When she gets to the farm, she crashes, literally into the beautiful Grayson.  One problem.  Grayson is a DICK.  Huge.  He has some major guilt issues.  From there, their relationship rockets into orbit.  It moved REALLY fast.  It didn’t seem believable at all.  And frankly, I don’t know why a girl as smart as Lori would put up with Grayson’s shit.

I hope the first book in the Seattle Sullivan’s is much better than this.  Disappointing.
