Book Review – Incandescent by River Savage (Knights Rebels MC #1)

Phoenix ‘Nix’ Knight thought pulling his club out of the illegal shit his Pops got them into was difficult.

Until he meets Kadence.

Kadence Turner has no business lusting over a student’s father, especially the president of the Knights Rebels MC. Nix is crass, obnoxious and dangerously sexy and for some reason, Kadence can’t seem to hate him for it. The bossy biker breaks down her defenses, but unlike the old Kadence, the woman she is today won’t give in without a fight.

The tension is undeniable, the attraction fierce. A man that wants what he wants and a woman that will fight him every step of the way.

4 1/2 out of 5 stars

This book has everything I love – a HOT alpha male, a GREAT heroine, it’s told in the first person and from alternating points of view.  I knew I’d love this book from the first chapter!!
Kadence is a school teacher and has a parent meeting with one of her students parents.  Low and behold, Nix Knight walks into her classroom.  From the first words of out of Nix’s mouth – I was in love.  And Kadence – well, she gave just as good as she got.
The banter and dialogue in this book are off the charts funny.  Kadence stood her ground, sticking up for herself, but Nix was a stubborn ass who wouldn’t give up.  They were so great together.  Kadence has some baggage and history I won’t spoil, but it makes for a good story.  I really can’t wait for the next book to come out.
