Willing Captive by Belle Aurora

Book description from goodreads.com:

Delilah “Lily” Flynn is used to her drab existence. Lily’s been living it for twenty two years.
Her boring life is suddenly turned on its head when she’s rudely kidnapped from her bedroom.
Or so she thinks.

Nox Taylor is far too high up in his field to be assigned a babysitting job.
There’s nothing more he wants than to complete his mission so he can be rid of the smartass tomboy, Lily.

Day after day, Nox watches Lily and her strange ways. She’s unlike any woman he’s ever met.
Getting close to the girl is purely for her own protection…right?

Lily never imagined she’d make her first real friends in captivity.
What lengths would she go through to keep them?

My rating:

4 stars

My rewiew:

I wasn’t sure I was going to like this book, but boy was I wrong!  I really liked this book!  Lily is a tomboy, very introverted, living in books, when she is taken from her bedroom.  She is taken to a safe house for her protection.  There she clashes with her “protector” Nox.  The banter between Lily and Nox is quite funny!  Lily also has two other protectors, Boo and Rock, who are really awesome characters.

Lily is “protected” for several months, and during this time, she and Nox develop a relationship, sometimes tumultuous, sometimes caring, sometimes downright mean.  But I found their relationship development to be believable and realistic.  I liked seeing Lily’s relationship with Boo develop as well.  Boo was a fun character.

There is some sadness in this book, but overall this is a GREAT book and you should read it.

This book has drama, laughs and love.  It’s an all around good book.  I’m so glad I discovered Belle Aurora.  She’s really great!

My recommendation:

Read it.
