5 out of 5 stars
I’m not big on giving 5 star reviews. A book has to be really great for me to give it 5 stars. I am telling you that Friend-Zoned is a 5-star book.
I’m not going to spend a lot of time rehashing the story, because I really want you to read this book. The story is about Tina, a woman who owns a clothing store and has suffered a terrible heartache, and Nik, a club owner who doesn’t do relationships.
Nik and Tina start out as friends, and their friendship develops in a natural way that is very believable. There is also a great cast of other characters, including Nik’s brother Max (who is super likable), his “brother not by blood” Ghost and Trick, and Tina’s friends Mimi, Nat and Lola. There is also Ceecee, Max’s child, who is honestly one of my favorite characters.
The characters in this book are SO genuine. I really felt like I was a part of this story and friends with these people. This book has some genuinely funny moments, as well as some touching and sad moments. This book is truly fantastic and I hope you’ll give it a chance!
